Banana Caramel Latte

A cozy blend of caramelized banana, warm spices, and rich espresso topped with creamy steamed milk. Perfect for a comforting treat any time of day!

Ingredients:

100 grams dark brown sugar

100 grams water

1 ripe banana

1-2 cinnamon sticks (or 1/8th tsp if ground)

2-3 pieces mace (or 1/8th tsp if ground)

Directions:

  1. Toast the cinnamon stick and mace in a small saucepan over medium heat until fragrant (about 10–15 seconds).

  2. In the same pan, add brown sugar and water, bringing the mixture to a boil.

  3. Add the banana, cinnamon stick, and mace to the syrup. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve.

  5. Store the syrup in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


Build:

  1. Pull double shot of espresso

  2. Whisk espresso and 1 oz of banana caramel together in cup until caramel is fully incorporated

  3. Steam milk and pour into cup
